Sorrow, sorrow, flowing from here to tomorrow.

Past and future drown me, the present I can not see.

There is no hope, for I have no faith.

Flies dance a dying dance, winter weighing down their wings.

Now chance sings.

I, unconscious on my knees, pray to see the day.

Morning comes, I mourn, reason now forgotten.

Even dreams now lay siege upon my soul.

No reality is pleasant to behold.

Fire, black with smoke, toxic, tickles my burning mind,

enticing me, relief, I must find!

I run. I scream.

I fly upon my growing, screaming dreams,

to dark, chaotic reality.

The way in which this heart perceives the days, my mind can not unfold.

Some strange happiness has besieged me, pain is gone leaving just a scar.

I have new dreams, though not as bright, still they’re guiding stars.

I dare not wish too loudly and surely would not for wishes pray,

instead, I cling to God’s strength, face my desire and make it his slave.

In her mother’s womb she sleeps,

then sudden pain awakens her.

The child stiffens, her heart leaps,

she feels her body torn asunder

as a dog would tear his meat.

Her mouth opens in a silent scream.

She can’t fight, only cry with defeat.

Against defenseless children do we scheme,

we ignore the blood upon our hands,

we revel in the stench upon the land.

Singing songs and crying “Let freedom ring”

but like a thief will come death’s sting.

God’s wrath will come upon us all

o harlot country you’ll soon fall

and all the pain you’ve given them

will come on you ten times ten.

And, Christians, we allowed such crime,

for us,NOW is judgement time.

All these little ones that die,

O Christian I ask you why!?

Why we, salt of the earth,

allow billions killed before thier birth.

We’ve sat so long idle by,

so long our only word, a sigh.

We sat as if our hands were tied,

while all around, morality died.

Now we must all pay the price

because we wouldn’t make the sacrifice.

Will you still listen to the screams tonight?

And not go forth and shed your light?

And those who kill, unknowing,

to them, is your love showing?

If not, WHY?!
